Information on St. Nicholas' Day Trips
Rides in 2012
On the weekends 1st/2nd of December 2012 and 8th/9th of December 2012 as well as on 7th of December 2012 our meanwhile traditional St. Nicholas Day trips take place. Unfortunately there is a typo in the printed version of the schedule 2012. By mistake there is mentioned a ride on 6th of December. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused. Please see table below for departure times. Please take a note that starting in 2011' season all tickets has to be obtained from Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz directly e. g. there are no more any ticket agencies.

Obligatory registration
All St. Nicholas Day trips are with no exeption obligatory to advance booking. If you and your kids plan to attend a ride please take into consideration to register very early. Based on our experience St. Nicholas Day trips are booked up soon.
Tariff / Payment
For these rides a special tariff apply. The fare is 14,-- EUR per adult and
7,-- EUR per child (aged 4-11) in a standard passenger car.
For our comfort class carriage (railroad cars with upholstered seats) we charge you 18,-- EUR per adult and
9,-- EUR per child (aged 4-11). The fare for a seat in our diner is
17,-- EUR per adult and
8,50 EUR per child (aged 4-11).
Toddlers (from 0-3 years) ride for free when accompanied by an adult but cannot claim for a seat. For a gift pack we charge you 5,-- EUR. For each order transaction an additonal handling fee (bank charges, postal charges) of 2,50 EUR will be added.
Payment is solely made via direct debit from a German bank account except cash sales at our ticket booth at Ebermannstadt Station (open from May to October on days where trains are operated by a steam engine).
Early Bird Offer!
Save money by simply booking your St. Nichlos Day Trip early. Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz grants a discount for all orders received until 08/31/2012. The following tariff-list apply:

To avoid misuse the early bird offer is limited to a maximum of 40 persons per order.
Booking
Advance booking can be done by phone, calling +49(9194)-794541 or +49(9194)-725175, by fax, using +49(9194)-794542 or personally at our ticket booth at Ebermannstadt Station from May to October on days where trains are operated by a steam engine (see timetable). For fax orders please use the order form (available in German only) down below.
Postal shipment of the train tickets starts end of September 2012. Please note that there will be no ticket shipment prior to a receipt of payment. Imperfect order forms will not be processed. Dampfbahn Fränkische Schweiz reserves the right to rescind orders at the expense of bank accounts with insufficient funds.
